  2. There is some real bite to this album. Dylan is inspired and on a roll at this point. Shot of love is a rock song that any real rock music lover would have been happy to write. dead man dead man and groom still waiting at the alter are also great rock songs. You will hear/read peopel weeping and moaning that this album is not a good album and waffle on about filler etc etc that's rubbish/5().

  6. Shot of Love may not be his most iconic LP but content wise it is one of his best. Listen again to the brave heroics of "Propety of Jesus", this is not just a dynamite song, in the content lays an important reflection of a certain aspect of life: to be brave enough to have faith and at the same time to keep this faith alive no matter what/5().
  7. Dead man, dead man When will you arise? Cobwebs in your mind Dust upon your eyes The glamour and the bright lights and the politics of sin The ghetto that you build for me is the one you end up in The race of the engine that overrules your heart Ooh, I can’t stand it, I can’t stand it Pretending that you’re so smart Dead man, dead man.
